HUMAN
An exhibition that explores all that is human via a conversation between art and music.By ANJAQ - a collaboration between artist Jaq Grantford and composer Andrew Batterham.
When you come to the exhibition bring headphones along so you can listen and a phone so you can scan the music QR codes.
There will be a short concert (10 to 15 minutes) where we will also talk about the music and the art. Please bring along a comfy cushion to sit on as there are only limited seats.
Imagine an evening of conversation between friends – a musician and an artist - that covers all the ideas that they hold important. From refugees ... to mental health ... to women's rights ... to the afterlife ... and more ...
The result is an exhibition of sight and sound – a conversation between music and art through an eclectic range of subjects.
Jaq and Andrew show their reactions to human experiences in different ways, Jaq in sight, Andrew in sound. Like a conversation, the art and music explore each experience in their own way, sometimes surprising, sometimes inevitable.
