Since 2012, Yarra Sculpture Gallery has established a series of artist residencies, with six Open Studio
exhibitions events to date. Proposals for the Winter Residency are currently being accepted. Details below:

Since 2012, Yarra Sculpture Gallery has established a series of artist residencies, with six Open Studio
exhibitions events to date. Proposals for the Winter Residency are currently being accepted. Details below:

2014 WINTER ARTISTS RESIDENCY & SHOW:
Proposals Due: 5pm on Sunday 8th of June
Residency Dates: 10th June to 5th August. Exhibition: 6th- 17th August.

Since 2012, YSG Residencies have provided a versatile venue to support new and innovative sculpture, installation
and sound/ moving image projects in a supportive, collegial setting. Site specific projects are most welcome.
Resident artists have 24hr access to the gallery and amenities, including shared use of hand tools, wi-fi, office, kitchen and toilets.
Applicants are advised to present a 250 word proposal, 5 images of recent/ relevant artworks (Max 1MB size files) and a one page resume. * Current membership with the contemporary sculptors association (who manage Yarra Sculpture Gallery) is required.
WINTER ARTISTS RESIDENCY
6 Gallery/ Studio spaces available:
Includes the Projection Room next to Gallery 1, and a new micro project space,
located beyond Gallery 3. Selected applicants pay an affordable rental to
research and produce new work over 8 weeks, for a 2-week Open Studio exhibition.
Artists enjoy 24 access to the gallery, amenities, tools & equipment. YSG
Artist Residencies support opportunities for resident artists to create
and network within a collegial setting.
